D.C. WOOOOOOO

So, lately it feels as if we've been living out of suitcases and laundry baskets. We've been on the go like crazy, but it's definitely been worth it! We just got back from D.C. a couple weeks ago where we were able to pack in a crazy amount of fun into just 4 days! That's just how we roll on vacation. Load it up.

So the first two days were RAINY. We did all our tourism things on those days. We were able to see the Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Vietnam Memorial, WWII Memorial, Capital Building, White House, Library of Congress, and parts of the Smithsonian! It was crazy and it was FANTASTIC!

On Saturday we were able to go to Erinn and Will's wedding! Their wedding was beautiful, and we had blast being able to celebrate with both of them. Erinn was a stunning bride! We haven't seen Erinn and Will or Brian and Rachel since our wedding, which is entirely too long! We devised a plan regarding our career paths, and I think it was a fantastic idea! We really enjoyed having the time to just catch up and visit and spend time with some great friends! Wish these times could happen more often!

On Sunday we headed over to spend time with John. We went to a Nationals game and ate some DELICIOUS food! We haven't seen John since our wedding either, and to be able to just hang out was awesome. I think we'll just retire and travel the country visiting with friends, because that is clearly the life! Anyone care to join?

More family came to play!!

Brad's parents came in the weekend after Aunt Jo and Uncle Bob and we had a great time! We were able to celebrate their birthdays together and just spend time together. The last few months have been crazy and busy, so it's been awhile since they've been able to come visit. We were able to catch a Round Rock game, the LBJ museum/library, see the vineyards, the bat bridge, and the state house again. It was a great time! Pictures below...

Family came to play!!

So we are WAY behind here. Aunt Jo, Uncle Bob, Bradley, Lauri, and Chase all came to visit a couple of weeks ago and we had a blast! We discovered more of Texas that we hadn't discovered before. Each time we would go somewhere new, they would ask if we had been there before, and most times the answer was no. Hahaha takes visitors to go be tourists I guess. We had such a great time though! We went to the bat bridge, the state house, San Antonio's Zoo, the Riverwalk, Iron Works for BBQ, the LBJ museum/library..I can't even remember all we did. I just know we had a great time! We also went to the Peter Pan putt putt here in Austin...SO MUCH FUN! It's only $5 for the first course, and $7 if you play both..I mean that's a steal! We loved it!
